This site ring was developed to give all directory customers and business a wider varity of shopping and info when surfing the web.

For those that don't know how a Web Ring really works, here is a bit of a snipit with the "Bottom Line":

The important thing in placing the WebRing RingCode, is being consistent.
If you do have a separated ring page, then it is bad form to have URL in your index entry pointing to somewhere else (like the index).

The reason for this is ease of browsing.
If someone finds your site through a WebRing and chooses not to browse it, then they need to be able to select the RingCode to try the next site in the ring. If the code is hidden somewhere else then they either have to hunt for the page its on, or backtrack in disgust. It may be that such a user was going to bookmark your site and browse it later. Make it hard for them and they won't.

I hope this helps
Thank you PB for the great image.

Summary
The important points to remember when adding and maintaining WebRing links to your pages are:

* Make sure you have the correct details of the NavBar or ringcode on your page.
* Make sure that the URL listed in the ring points to the page with these codes on it, not another one.
* If you have a separated ring page, have a link to the main page there, and also have a link to it so that the code can easily be found.
* Don't forget to email the WebRing manager when your code is in place and ready to be used, so that your site gets transferred to the index.

My suggestion for ease of everyone is to place it in the footer.
That way everyone will know exactly where the code is to facilatate navagation.
We have worked very hard to develop the code so as to not be obtrosive or grandios...

If you do place the code in a page other than the Index page, YOU MUST place a small Link to it in the index page.

untill you place the code on your page your membership will not be activated.

    the Ring code

If you don't get a custom ring code in the mail, Log into your account below and get your individual reing code. Just copy and paste it into your home page footer!

You should not have to do any editing.

It is already set so that the background is the same as your bg placement.

If the Directory Associates Logo is a bad color for your page
you can just change the color in your script.

Would Highly Recommend and Advise that you change nothing else in the code.
We have worked very hard to ensure a seamless and un-obtrusive meld into all websites.
    Thank you
